Astrology, passion and destiny.

  As a reflecting mirror from the past, this brief narrative allows me to take a look at my particular experience with the planets, signs and aspects, which had given a meaning to experiences that happen in this short terrestrial time span I am sharing with you.  With a heroic romanticism I intend to interpret myself and my destiny, through the stars. I am from Cancer. Lunatic by nature, times three. With Venus coloring the Moon, Libra and Pisces as my ascending sign. Along these pages I sow, with far long stitches and in a simplistic way in order to provide you, the reader, with clear astrological references, and some of the planetary influences, with specific situations over the years, spinning my relationship with astrology.   Lupita spent days and nights in a therapeutic reclining bed in her bedroom. More than ninety years old, her eyes no longer distinguished a shape. Her only daughter-in-law was in charge of her care. I met Lupita many years before, in that same old house in Mixcoac, south of Mexico City, when my Mom attended her astrology mentoring and she use to take me with her. A GREAT LESSON. Now let me tell you another amazing lesson I learned with her as the roles reversed; my mother as my companion and me as the disciple.  We arrived early to the mentoring session. As usual, I sat in the chair near the entrance door on the side of the bed, my mother sat on Lupita's bed.  The teacher started a new topic and began explaining how important thoughts are, because thoughts are energy, and such energy creates the reality. She said “…we live today what we were thinking yesterday”.  She described how when we think something repeatedly, we manifest it in our daily lives and create everything that resonates with such idea. There is no filter, if we think either constructive or destructive, the energy will follow accordingly. Many times we do not have a clear intention, we may think we are doing “well” but our real intention is just a selfish wish hence it is extremely important that our thoughts are worthy and correct in accordance to the universal law...

IN SEARCH OF FREEDOM              Today I understand life as an evolution, we are the actors of our own evolution, under the script of a strict mathematical order, therefore so many things we feel, we live and do at certain ages, are implicit in that order. As far as my 21 years allowed, my need to launch myself and conquer of myself was not an option, it was within of the natural order of evolution.        We may know it or not, accept it or resist understanding it, but life was there before us and will remain there after us, with their times, with their rules. I continued studying Astrology on my own. To resume from the beginning, I decided to calculate and draw my own astral map chart. I looked for my birth time in my certificate and started with the numbers on record. A decisive surprise, a regret died inside me and a certainty was born. My mother told me that it was of ascending Aries, and the new calculation, threw Pisces. Two signs of very different characteristics. Neptune, god of the oceans, who misleads, dilutes, confuses, disperses and exercises such influence that can lead us to deception, under this influence, in aspect with Uranus, regent of Astrology, in house VII of my astral map, I was unfaithful to myself and to Astrology.   A new stage awaited me, in a span of two and a half years I was a mother, twice again, of a Sun in Pisces and a Sun in Leo. The little Sun in Aries, had already grown, became a teenager and would be on the verge of death. At this time was hitting bottom and would come back apologizing to the jealous astrology.  This astrological aspect makes us mature, it happens between the twenty-nine years and half and thirty-one and a half, the famous, and often feared, "Return of Saturn", Chronos in Greek mythology, lord of time, who showing us our own reality obliges us to take responsibility for our actions and their consequences and gives us the harvest of the sown with our commitment, effort and discipline.  During this time I had to face the fact that the economic security that my job at the bank offered me wasn't enough to submit to its demands.   Between bottles and lullabies, I discovered that I was under the influence of the most feared square off, the one who kidnaps and forces to live in hell, submits to pain, destroys and brings you back to birth, the god of the underworld: Pluto, was square to himself (he had traveled ninety degrees in the zodiac, from his position at the time of my birth) on my astral map. Willing to do his job, this aspect destroyed every sense of attachment I could feel, ideas, ways of life, relationships and the possible death of my oldest son.   Saturn also builds, offers the energy necessary to structure, but it also requires commitment, loyalty, discipline and perseverance, without any of these elements; we cannot be prepared to take opportunities.  While I was living this separation, I prepared and started my first Astrology group class, which I embraced with all my heart.
